![]() ![]() I guess they don’t care it was dangerous to resume the ride and they sure didn’t care that their clients had to sit in the miserable cold rain because they didn’t want to pull the plug on the ride. We inquired about our partial refund and we were told absolutely not since we could have stuck out the weather and eventually resume the ride. Finally, we were picked up and brought back to stable. We had to walk about a mile down the mountain dodging horse poop and mud. My family (2 kids and 2 adults) decided regardless we wanted to end the ride along with another couple because now we have been in the soaking cold rain for 1hr 30 mins and it was still thundering and we were not risking getting back in the horses who were freaked out already. They mentioned we would get half the deposit back. ![]() About 20 minutes of waiting and no end in sight, the guides started to correspond with the owners/management about if they were going to stop the ride and we were going to be picked up. The guides told us we had to wait out the storm at the stop-no shelter and still raining and it was cold. The horses started to freak so we were required to stop. Unfortunately, we hit a heavy rainstorm, which was fine and we kept riding for about an hour until it started to thunder. Be aware that it rains relatively often in this area in the summer and you are riding rain or shine.
